Harriet enjoys the boldness of line required for block printing, and the process of reducing an image to its essential form. She does a lot of block printing, creating colour prints with several blocks as well as monochrome designs, all of which are developed from her drawings from life. She also enjoys playing with colour variations, so many prints are available in various colourways. She has also recently started working with screen-printing, under the expert eye of Resi van der Ploeg (www.haagwegleiden.nl/kunstenaars/resi-van-der-ploeg.php)
